Making Room

Big things are in the works at Crossroads Church! In 2025 we went to two services to make room for people in our sanctuary, and church leadership began praying about and planning for a sanctuary addition—something that has been a part of our building plan since 2005. A Building Committee was formed, who began working with an architect to design a worship space. This April we paid off our mortgage and began plans for a Capital Campaign, with the goal of raising at least half of the building costs to minimize our new mortgage.

Building Plans

Set to break ground Spring 2027! We plan to build a sanctuary addition that will seat 400 people, making room for others to connect with God. Creating this new space will allow us to transform our current sanctuary to a large foyer with a coffee bar, welcome table, and comfortable seating to encourage people to connect with each other. Lastly, to accommodate our growing congregation, we will expand the parking lot.

Capital Campaign

Crossroads' Capital Campaign is focused on Stewardship—that we all would be encouraged to be good caretakers of the talents and resources that God has blessed us with to grow His Kingdom. Our biblical model is found in

1 Chronicles 29, which describes how David and the Israelites gave toward the building of the Temple.

Their giving was over and above their normal offerings and sacrifices, given willingly in response to the leadership of the Spirit, don't have a “very one—beginning with King David, then the leaders, and then the people.

Financial Goals

  • Leadership goal : $300,000
  • Congregation goal : $300,000
  • Miracle goal : $750,000 total

What to Expect?

Sundays, Pastor John will be encouraging us to Make Room for what God wants us to do

40 Days of Prayer, including daily email devotions and a prayer vigil on October 24.

Celebration Sunday, October 25, when our whole church will be invited to give as the Lord leads them with both a three-year pledge and a “first fruits” offering towards their giving commitment. This celebration will culminate in a walking taco lunch in the Community Room while pledges are being tallied and we rejoice over what God has done!

How can I be a part?

Please pray. Pray for church leadership as they plan and step out in faith. Ask God how He might be prompting you to participate in what He is doing at Crossroads. Prayerfully consider making a three-year pledge towards the Capital Campaign and giving a “first fruits” offering Sunday, October 25.
